Here's what you'll need
for this tutorial:
Paint Shop Pro which you can download
a trial version from Corel Corporation.
This tutorial was written in PSP version 7. I've made adjustments in the tutorial for other versions.
Eye Candy 4000 (preferred) or
Eye Candy 3 (Alien Skin used to offer this version for free but I believe they removed it).
PSP 8 & 9 Users will need to download the foil.bmp picture below and place it in your Textures folder since this image is not included in these versions (right click and save it).

1) Open a new image 200x200 with a WHITE background.
If you'll be using EyeCandy 3 please make your image 214x214
2) Set your foreground to pattern and select the Cracked Emerald Scale 100% Angle 0
Background set to null.
(PSP 6 users: browse to your pattern folder and open the Cracked Emerald pattern) (PSP 8 & 9 users: This pattern is now called Bright Emerald)
3) Set your foreground texture to Foil:
4) Flood fill your image.
5) Apply Eye Candy 4000 Jiggle with the following settings:
Or Eye Candy 3.1 Jiggle:
6) This step for Eye Candy 3.1 users only:
Go to Selections- Select All- Selections- Modify- Contract by 7
Image- Crop to Selection.
That's it!!! You can colorize this tile and if you're using PSP 7 you can also use the Manual
Color Correction to colorize the tile. Here are some samples that I've done with the Hue and Saturation settings I used.
But wait....there's more!!!!
Save your tile in the green and follow me to the next tutorial where we'll put this
tile to use in the Mosaic Glass Frame Tutorial
